In this field, concepts such as top-down pattern, informative/symbolic signs, and multilingualism are discussed. Iranian Islamic revolution has been a significant event in the country's contemporary history and this study attempts to shed light on the grafitti during this period from the perspective of of the field of linguistic landscape. The corpus of study is the book "Images of Revolutionary Grafitti' published in 1983. The findings showed that all 150 are subject to top-down pattern because they were written by citizens. It was also found that 115 grafitti have a symbolic function and 35 grafitti were written the development of the revolution. Another interesting finding is that Persian is the dominant language and six items are in English. One slogan was in Spanish and there are some Arabic expressions. Out of 150 grafitti forty one have directly or indirectly mentioned the name of Imam Khomeini. In some cases, the text is accompanied by an image. As mentioned earlier, the only Spanish slogan (VIVA KHOMEINI) is also written with the theme of Imam Khomeini. <span dir="RTL" lang="FA">چشم‌انداز زبانی حوزه‌ای در جامعه‌شناسی زبان است که به مطالعه متون نوشته شده در فضای عمومی می‌پردازد. در این حوزه مفاهیمی همچون الگوی بالا-پایین، الگوی پایین-بالا، نشانه‌های اطلاع‌رسانی و نشانه‌های نمادین و چندزبانگی مطرح‌اند. با توجه به اهمیت دوران انقلاب اسلامی در تاریخ معاصر ایران، در این پژوهش دیوارنوشته‌های ماه‌های منجر به پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی ایران در سال 1357 از منظر حوزۀ نوین چشم</span> <span dir="RTL" lang="FA">‌انداز زبانی بررسی می‌شوند. پیکرۀ تحقیق کتاب <em>تصاویر دیوارنوشته‌های انقلاب</em> است که در سال 1361 منتشر شده</span> <span dir="RTL" lang="FA">است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد تمام 150 نشانۀ زبانی مندرج در پیکرۀ تحقیق تابع الگوی پایین-بالا هستند؛ چرا که همگی توسط شهروندان نوشته شده‌اند. از منظر کارکرد دیوارنوشته‌ها، 115 دیوارنوشته کارکرد نمادین دارند و 35 دیوارنوشته با هدف اطلاع‌رسانی درباره تحولات انقلاب نوشته شده‌اند. دیگر یافتۀ جالب توجه این است که فارسی، زبان غالب دیوارنوشته‌هاست و شش مورد از آن‌ها به زبان انگلیسی و یک مورد نیز به زبان اسپانیایی است و در مواردی عبارات عربی نیز مشاهده می‌شود. همچنین، مشخص شد چشم</span> <span dir="RTL" lang="FA">انداز زبانی تهران در دوران انقلاب اسلامی بستری برای اسطوره</span><span lang="FA">‎سازی و نیز نوآوری‌های زبانی فراهم کرده</span> <span dir="RTL" lang="FA">است.</span> https://www.chistorys.ir/article_202818_9836ab464c258cb7432f45bb58ae5b0f.pdf
