Abstract
The incursion of Guz into Khurasan in 548 AH is one of the important events which narrators and reporters had regarded it in special point of view and in various aspects. This article used the parameters of methods for critical - analysis of narrative in order to understand and depict the originality and accuracy of the narratives related to the Guz event. The aim of this article is to depict the role of narrator, his point of view, descent and origin, time and place in historical narratives. Therefore, the reader of history gains the knowledge for understanding famous narratives. Seventeen narratives which have been studied in this article have chosen from three branches of sources: historical, poetic and literary. The present article shows that although these are narratives from the past of defeated nation, they obviously embody the distance between Seljuk historiography from being courtly and approve the influence of inter-structure factors - such as Sultan - in this failure.
